The Knights of Columbus Mother Seton Council 5381, a community of Catholic men united by our commitment to God, family, and service. Rooted in the guiding principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, we strive to make a difference in Lanham, Maryland, and beyond.

For decades, our council has been a beacon of hope, offering spiritual growth opportunities, supporting local families, and providing aid to those in need. Inspired by the vision of our founder, Blessed Michael McGivney, we dedicate ourselves to building a stronger, more compassionate world through prayer, action, and brotherhood.

Our Mission
To support St. Matthias Catholic Church, strengthen our Catholic faith, and provide outreach to those in need while fostering fellowship among our members.
What We Do
Knights serve through fundraisers, food drives, youth programs, and faith events, embodying Christ’s work in our community.

OUR LEGACY

The Journey of Time

Guided by Blessed Michael McGivney’s vision, we’ve built a legacy of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism

1970s

1970s - Began charitable work, supporting struggling families in Lanham.

1980s

1980s - Launched Youth Empowerment, offering scholarships and mentoring.

1990s

1990s - Started the Grand Knight’s Fundraising Gala, raising funds for parish and outreach.

2000s

2000s - Supported disaster relief, aiding Hurricane Katrina victims.

2010s

2010s - Now: Expanded ministries, promoting faith formation, family support, and life advocacy.
