Feeding the Hungry Program

The Knights of Columbus Mother Seton Council 5381 believes in the power of charity to transform lives. One of our most impactful initiatives is the Feeding the Hungry Program. Through this program, we serve hot meals and distribute food supplies to individuals and families in need within the Lanham community.

Every month, our members volunteer their time to prepare, package, and deliver nutritious meals to local shelters, food banks, and low-income neighborhoods. This effort not only provides physical sustenance but also brings hope and dignity to those we serve.

Additionally, we organize food drives during the holiday season, encouraging parishioners and community members to donate non-perishable items. These drives bring together people of all ages in a shared mission of compassion and generosity.

The Feeding the Hungry Program is more than just an act of charity; it’s a testament to our commitment to living out our faith through service. By addressing the basic needs of our neighbors, we embody the values of charity, unity, and fraternity that define the Knights of Columbus.
