Director - Evangelization & Faith Formation
Emmanuel is the Program Director for Evangelization and Faith Formation for the Knights of Columbus (KofC) Mother Seton Council 5381 in Lanham and he is responsible for guiding and overseeing initiatives that strengthen the Catholic faith among members and the broader parish community. His key functions include:
- Faith Development Programs – Organizing Bible studies, catechetical sessions, and spiritual retreats to deepen members’ understanding of Catholic teachings.
- Evangelization Efforts – Promoting outreach programs that encourage parishioners and non-members to grow in faith and participate in Church activities.
- Sacramental Support – Assisting in coordinating preparation for sacraments such as Baptism, Confirmation, and Marriage.
- Liturgical Involvement – Encouraging Knights to actively participate in Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and other religious events.
- Community Engagement – Partnering with parish clergy and ministries to support faith-based initiatives and charitable works.
- Membership Faith Enrichment – Encouraging spiritual growth within the KofC council through faith-sharing meetings, prayer sessions, and formation activities.
- Pro-Life and Family Initiatives – Supporting programs that uphold the sanctity of life and Catholic family values.
His role ensures that the Knights embody their mission as “the strong right arm of the Church”, fostering faith, fraternity, and service within the community.
